Coach Reimbursement

Haverhill Youth Soccer is committed to educating our volunteer coaches through sponsored instructional programs. As an added incentive for people to volunteer to coach and to help retain licensed and experienced coaches, we offer reimbursements for coaching education courses and player registration fees.

Coaching Education Courses

HYS will reimburse a coach for successfully completing any US Soccer Grassroots Licensing Course or United Soccer Coaches Coaching Development Course. Pre-approval must be obtained from the President for more advanced or specialized courses. Upon completion of a course, a coach may submit a copy of their certificate and receipt of payment to the Director of Soccer Development for reimbursement.

Player Registration Fees

HYS will reimburse an appropriately-licensed coach the full amount of the player registration fee for any of their family's children playing on their group or team.

• Pre-School, Grade KG, Grade 1 and Grade 2 - 4v4 Grassroots

• Grade 3/4 - 7v7 Grassroots

• Grade 5/6 - 9v9 Grassroots

• Grade 7/8, Grades 9/10, Grades 11/12 or PG - 11v11 Grassroots

Upon completion of each season, HYS agrees to reimburse the player registration fee for any child whose family member meets the above requirements.
