Summer Soccer Opportunities

Hello Everyone,
HYS would like to share a couple of opportunities for your young athlete to play some soccer and sharpen your skills over the summer.

First, HYS’s own, Kevin Murphy will be running another “Shoot & Save” clinic this summer.  This will be a 4 day camp (Monday July 18th through Thursday July 22nd). Each day will run from 9am to 12pm.  The “Shoot & Save” clinic is open to boys and girls, entering grades 6 through 12. This clinic focuses on improving attacking focused players both technically with finishing skills and tactically with their awareness around the goal. At the same time, goalkeepers are focusing on their own technical saving strategies and tactical awareness within their goal area.  All players will compete in a fun yet challenging training environment, supported by high-level specialized coaching. The District Select Program is great chance to play competitively over the summer and keep skills sharp, while remaining a very flexible commitment activity. Plus it offers a chance to socialize and play with other players across towns/clubs in Essex County.

The age groups represented in the program are G6(U12), G8(U14), G10(U16), G12/PG(U19) girls and boys teams.
