September has arrived! Along with the sound of school bells ringing, we will soon hear the sound of our kids playing on our soccer fields. This edition of the Kicker highlights important information, so please read on.
DEVELOPMENT: Pre-K through 2nd Grade
Our Development program begins this Saturday, September 10 at St. James Field. 415 Primrose St. on the following schedule:
PRE-K & Kindergarten: 9am - 9:45
Grade 1: 10:10am - 11:10
Grade 2: 11:30 - 12:30
All Development Coaches, PLEASE arrive 15 minutes early for a quick review of the morning’s session plan.
IN-TOWN: Grades 3-6
Regrettably, the In-Town program will be delayed one week on due to a lack of coaches. If you are willing to help, please reach out to Ashley Derman intown@haverhillyouthsoccer.org . If all goes well, we will begin on September 17. The practice schedule will be released soon via email and TeamSnap.
TRAVEL PROGRAM
Our eight Travel teams will hitting the road (or playing at home) for their first games of the season this coming Saturday, September 10. We wish all of them the best this fall! We still have available spots for Girls in grades 7&8. If you are interested, please reach out to travel@haverhillyouthsoccer.org

ROCK & ROLL BINGO FUNDRAISER
Reserve your seat now for the hottest ticket in town! It will be a great night of fun, refreshments, raffles and prizes all to support the Haverhill Youth Soccer programs.
Tickets are $30 and $240 for a table of 8 with EXTRA raffle tickets thrown in.
We are still accepting donations for the raffles. Reach out to volunteer@haverhillyouthsoccer.org for more information!
SOCCER SWAP
Have old gear that doesn’t fit? Need a new pair of cleats or other items? Visit the soccer swap at St. James field. NEW this season, we will accept and share old uniform pieces that may no longer fit. The Soccer Swap will be open during game days, for you to donate to, or go through!
SOCCER PARENTING RESOURCE CENTER
HYS has partnered with SoccerParenting.com to give you a free membership to the Soccer Parent Resource Center. Get yours here: https://www.haverhillyouthsoccer.org/soccer-parenting-resource-center . After creating your account, click on “COURSES” and take the Sideline Pledge. It is a 15 minute course that will help you be a more supportive parent on the sidelines.
